The cottage also provides a private entrance and a toilet. Comfortable and cozy cottage featuring a terrace with furniture and a bbq. We offer 9 different cottages in all sizes, from 2-person up to 10-person cottages. In our tomato shop, you can find all kinds of products made from our harvest. From the beginning, the main focus has been on breeding beautiful horses with a good temperament and who are willing to work. The cold water we irrigate in the greenhouses is the same water we drink at home and serve to our guests in the restaurant.

Find Icelandic expertise in renewable energy and circular solutions. In total, there are around 40 horses at Friðheimar. Currently, there are two to three award-winning breeding mares on our farm and we only use award-winning stallions for breeding. Emphasis is placed on a smooth tölt, with a good foot lift and fast pace, preferably spacious five-gaited horses. It is a valuable resource for us Icelanders to have access to good and abundant spring water for irrigation. Visits to the greenhouses are available all year round for prebooked groups.
